# Independent artists, before they sign.

For producers, promoters, playlist curators and studios: find rappers and singers by genre and city, with no label or manager on the profile, and the email to reach them.

Example brief: “Independent R&B singers in Atlanta with 5k–50k followers, active in the last 30 days, with no label or manager in the bio and a public email.”

### How we prove “independent”

- **Bio** — No label, management or agency named — often the word itself: “independent artist”.
- **Contact** — The email is the artist's own, not a manager's or a label's.
- **Signed?** — A label or manager in the bio or captions turns the profile down.

## Questions, answered.

### How do I find independent artists on Instagram?

Describe the genre, the city and the size — “R&B singers in Atlanta, 5k–50k followers, no label in the bio”. InstaVision searches Instagram, reads each profile and returns the artists who fit every condition, each with the line that proves it and a public email where they list one.

### How do producers find rappers to sell beats to?

Ask for rappers in the genre you produce, at a size where they still buy beats themselves — for example 2k–30k followers, posting new music every month, no label listed. Every match shows why it fits, so you pitch the right sound.

### Can I check their streams or audience?

No. We read the public Instagram profile and recent captions — not streaming numbers, and not where their audience lives.
